Dayton sisters earn black belts in karate

Congratulations to sisters Frida and Camelia Gutierrez of Dayton.They have earned the coveted Back Belt in the sport of Karate. The last three Frida and Camelia Gutierrez with Karate Class Frida and Camelia Gutierrez with Instructors David Caraway and Sue Diaz months have been filled with intense training and testing to get in peak condition, mentally and physically.

They train at the Crosby Community Center under Instructors Jesse and Sue Diaz, along with David Caraway. Their dad, two older brothers, and an older sister are already Black Belts in Karate. Karate is a fun sport that can be used for self-defense if necessary.

Karate classes are free at the Center and we want to thank Commissioner Ramsey for continuing to offer this free program. For more information call Sue at 713-962-6641.
